Storyline:
The year is 2054. Earth’s survival depends on deep-space colonization. Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) is an “Expendable”, a low-ranking crew member whose body is reprinted and revived every time he dies on a mission to the frozen planet Niflheim. But when Mickey 18 is regenerated while Mickey 17 is still alive, the two clones must confront each other, and the twisted ethics of a system that sees life as replaceable.
As the mission leaders hide the truth and tensions rise, Mickey finds himself at the heart of a dangerous conspiracy that could endanger the entire colony—and force him to fight for what little identity he has left.
