Set in a dystopian near-future South Korea, Trigger opens in a nation stunned by the illegal influx of firearms. In a society that once prided itself on its gun control, citizens, lawmen, and criminals alike now must navigate a violent and unpredictable new world.
Enter Detective Lee Do (played by Kim Nam-gil), a former military sniper turned investigator who’s haunted by past traumas. Thrust back into survival mode, he must chase down the origin of the weapons while keeping the streets from turning into warzones.
