Rajinikanth Embarks on Spiritual Journey Ahead of ‘Coolie’ Shoot; Declines to Comment on PM Modi

Renowned actor Rajinikanth has commenced his annual spiritual journey to the Himalayas following the completion of his upcoming film, “Vettaiyan.” The ‘Superstar’ began his pilgrimage from Chennai and has already reached Dehradun. Speaking to the media in Chennai, Rajinikanth shared, “I go there every year. I will visit Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Baba cave. It gives me a new experience every time.”

When questioned about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Rajinikanth responded, “No comments. No political questions, please.” He also refrained from engaging in the ongoing debate in Tamil Nadu regarding the importance of lyrics versus music in songs.

In Dehradun, Rajinikanth emphasized the universal need for spirituality, stating, “The whole world needs spirituality, as it’s important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility, and fundamentally, it involves believing in God.”

Recently, Rajinikanth returned from the United Arab Emirates, where he was honored with the Golden Visa. During his visit, he also stopped by the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi.

Upon his return from the Himalayas, Rajinikanth is set to begin filming for “Coolie,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It has been confirmed that actor Sathyaraj will join the cast, and the music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Produced by Sun Pictures, this film will be the 171st project of Rajinikanth’s illustrious career.
