Navy Officer’s Daughter, 16, Becomes Youngest Indian to Scale Mount Everest from Nepal Side

Kaamya Karthikeyan, a 16-year-old from Mumbai, has made history by becoming the youngest Indian to scale Mount Everest from the Nepal side. A Class 12 student at Navy Children School in Mumbai, Kaamya embarked on the challenging expedition with her father, Commander S Karthikeyan, on April 3. They successfully reached the summit on May 20, the Indian Navy announced.
