In the trailer, Anurag Kashyap and Gulshan Devaiah engage in a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game. Adding to the excitement, Devaiah takes on a dual role in the series.

Devaiah shared insights about his roles, saying, “Bad Cop is a pure thriller meant to entertain. What intrigued me most were the characters I portray. Karan and Arjun are identical twins with contrasting personalities—one is a cop, the other a criminal. A major twist binds their fates together. The challenge for me began with the action scenes, which were far from easy.”

Anurag Kashyap also discussed his character, stating, “Kazbe mama is a unique villain, both charismatic and deadly. Filming the gory scenes was intimidating, a stark contrast to my usual work. Kazbe is a formidable character, and I drew inspiration from many of my previously created antagonists to prepare for this role. Fremantle India and Aditya have been excellent partners, revealing a new side of me in this show. For Kazbe, I had no set process, drawing inspiration from icons like Nana Patekar in ‘Parinda’ and Irrfan Khan in ‘Haasil.'”

‘Bad Cop’ will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from June 21.
