His latest Bollywood release was “Merry Christmas,” starring Katrina Kaif and directed by Sriram Raghavan.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Sethupathi expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, particularly highlighting SRK’s unwavering energy levels. “One day, during the shoot, he was unwell but you just can’t figure it out unless he tells you. That’s an amazing quality he has,” Sethupathi shared. He also appreciated the praise he received from SRK, Rajinikanth, and Vijay, feeling honored that such esteemed actors noticed and acknowledged his performances.

Moving Away from Villain Roles

Sethupathi, who played the antagonist in “Jawan,” has decided to steer clear of villain roles in the future. He explained that these roles often put him in direct competition with the lead star, something he wishes to avoid. Instead, Sethupathi expressed a desire to explore romantic films, seeking to diversify his acting repertoire.

Upcoming Projects

Vijay Sethupathi’s Tamil film “Maharaja”, set to release on June 14, will mark his 50th film in the South Indian film industry. Fans eagerly await this milestone release, anticipating another powerful performance from the versatile actor.
